Culhane`s Steak House in New Cumberland

My ex just loved this place. Although the food was always great. It just reminds me of him divorcing me.

It was good. The food was good and the service was good. It just didn't wow me to earn a 5 star. I would still recommend ppl to go and try it for themselves though

My steak was amazing. Cooked just perfect. The service was prompt and friendly. Oh and their bread is so delicious and warm right from the oven.

Over priced but not bad shrimp over cook our waitress was not quick on her feet. Food ok but not what you pay for.

Great casual dining. Prompt professional service. Friendly attentive staff. Highly suggest the rib rack or the chicken imperial. It's always a good choice. The spaghetti side is a bonus too. Sweet sauce. And as always, any steak you order will be on par or better than you can do yourself.

One of the best steakhouses I've been to in a while, and I've been to some of the best of them. The bread was break with your hand bread. Does Caesar salad dressing was on point. They couldn't find a fresh pepper mill I suppose I could give them a denote for that. But take a look at this porterhouse steak for $25.50 The Maryland crab soup was delicious just spicy enough. My friend said the chicken soup was outstanding. I don't doubt that all of their food here is delicious. Tara was an outstanding waitress.

The steak melted in your mouth and the crab cake was all crab meat. Their salad is fresh and very good and the bread is always fresh & warm. One of the best steak house I've eaten at and well worth the money. The servers are very nice and friendly too.

The decor is outdated, the food nothing special for the price EXCEPT for the porterhouse steak that my hubby had. It was the most tender steak he's ever ordered anywhere. The steak almost makes up for the mediocrity of the other food items..

Very nice waitstaff and atmosphere. Steak was wonderful, superb. Cooked exactly the way I requested. Seafood was not. Shrimp overcooked and dry and the crab cake had the tiniest hint of spice sprinkled on the top. None within the cake itself. Very bland. They did a fabulous job on the scallops though. Tender, moist and just the right amount of spice. I'll definitely go back, but won't order the seafood.

Great meal, when you go to a steak house you hope for a good steak and they did not disappoint. The service was good and you can not beat the price. Recommend when your looking for a great steak dinner.

Not a fan,super dark and old,no spe Italy drink menu and everything was super bland. Blah

Worst thing happened that one could see in a restaurant. The soda served was not what we ordered so the waitress went to get another. After she poured it from the soda gun, I WATCHED HER TAKE A SIP from the glass to taste it. She made eye contact with me and then put some in a different glass to try and cover herself. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Oh yeah...the place was dirty too, just look at the curtains. NASTY!!!

I've been coming here since I was a kid and the service and food have always been great! Now that I'm an adult, it's even better because they definitely don't skimp on the wine! Good beer list, too. Friendly waitstaff, low-key atmosphere, hearty food!

Always good. 2 issues: they have no veggies other than salad (sweet potatoes and corn don't count) and the steaks are on sizzling plates. That's fine but order rare if you want med rare cuz they'll cook more. Food good, service good and reasonably priced. We're gonna be regulars.

Sorry to be negative, but we didn't have a good experience here. Food was cold for one of us, mine was tasteless, and the service was really slow for our table. Others came in after we had ordered, and they got their food before we did. I had wanted to ask for dipping sauce for my appetizer, but the server never came near enough for me to get her attention until I decided to just eat it plain before it got cold. The prices were very high, so I assumed we'd get a lot of flavor and excellent service. Also, not being from the area, we had a hard time finding our way to the restaurant. There were no signs at the road we were supposed to take to get there. We managed to find it, but it was frustrating.

Had a really good meal here for a very reasonable price. The crab soup was really good. My portion I didn't see a lot of crab, but the taste made me not care about that. My wife didn't care for her crab cake, but we both really liked our steaks. Mine was cooked a perfect med rare and it was a porterhouse for under $25. It was seasoned very well also. Just a good beef taste. The service was a very nice lady. The one negative is they have a very good beer menu, however most of it is not available. We'll be back and assuming it is just as good will probably give the 5th star...

Steak and crabcake was a hit! Our waitress was very kind and patient with my 8 year old ordering his own food. Great food and the prices are great! My kiddo enjoyed his grilled cheese as well 👌

Just had Saturday Easter dinner there with my extended family. Eleven of us. Fantastic service right from the start. Excellent food. Best appetizers ever, especially the calamari! Greta selection and reasonably priced!

Food, drinks, staff were all very enjoyable. Have had great experiences each time we've been here (covering a span of over 20 years).

Very good hole in the wall kind of steak house. We have been here a few times since we moved to the area 6 years ago and have never been disappointed. Good food, friendly staff.

Favorite local steakhouse. Great for lunch or dinner. Welcoming staff with great service. Served by Gretchen today during lunch. Can't go wrong with their menu but I do highly recommend the steaks. My go to place for a medium rare NY strip.

Excellent experience overall! Easy to find, acessible parking.The restaurant has an 80's steakhouse vibe (I consider that a good thing). The music/ambience is very nice; played a lot of Sinatra and with the candles, provided a romantic setting.I had the seafood sampler which was delicious. My wife had some type of chicken which had a tasty sauce. Lastly, the bread was terrific, too.

I ordered a 10oz Filet Mignon cooked medium and it tasted like cardboard. Disgusting. The staff is nice though.

I was one of a table of 13. My crab cake meal was great. No filler, no shell pieces. One person got a steak with an enormous amount of mushrooms, he was happy. One person got a shrimp and pasta dish, huge shrimp and good amount of pasta. However, one person was not so pleased. She ordered a steak, she took on bite and spit it out. It was rancid. Asked for another one, which she got but everyone was done or almost done eating, she didn't want to be the only one eating, so she took it home. Now we all know food taste better fresh and still sizzling.

Steak was spot on tender cooked to what i asked. My lobster tail was not over done . Shrimp were over done .but service was amazing. I recommend for price it was great

The filet was tough. Did not resemble a filet, coming from a beef farmer please make sure you serve the correct cut of steak. It however did come out medium as asked. Service was slow. For the price, expected much more.

If you want a good filet, this is the place. You won't find one better in the area. Other food is delicious too. Wonderful staff.

One of my go to places for a good steak

Was there Nov 10th a Sunday with my family. I got the double crab cake order with a side salad and baked potatoe. YUM! Our waitress was great and it wasn't packed in the early afternoon which was nice

Excellent staff and food. Would just come back for the deserts. Very reasonably priced too. My only complaint would be, is that it gets very noisy in there

Food was very expensive which we expected. But $28 for a smaller size steak and crabcake with 2 sides which you can only pick from 6 sizes. The food was all dry and overcooked and ended up making me sick. Waitress was very short and rude. Overall a not good experience.

Great local seafood and steakhouse. I stop here frequently after driving the turnpike. It’s easy to get to from the interstate. The crab cakes are great and full of crab meat, not filler. Prices are great.I got the land and sea combo last. It’s a crab cake and your choice of any steak. I chose the 10 oz fillet. The dinner was delicious. My only complaint is that when I ordered mushrooms to accompany the steak, they used canned mushrooms.

The appearance of the dining room is outdated. Wallpaper was parting at a seam on the one wall. Service was fair. The side salad was the smallest salad I was ever served. The iceberg lettuce was not cold nor crispy. There was a very small 1/8 slice of tomato placed on this cheap lettuce. The house dressing was flavorful, though. The warm baguette that was served for 2 people was tough and hard to chew. The very thin breaded piece of fish on my platter was tough and flavorless. The other breaded seafood on platter was okay. The platter cost $20. My husband ordered the 2 crab cake dinner and the taste was fine but the size was smaller than what the waiter said it would be. We had not been here for awhile and thought we would give it another try but after this pricely experience with the lack of quality we will wait along time to return.

Nice recent remodel and far better steaks than at the chain steakhouses.

It was steady business there but not packed. We were seated right away. The food was pretty good. The appetizer was very good. My wife and I had steak and they came out good. The surf part of her surf & turf was overcooked. My son had a burger which had no flavor. The biggest issue we had was the very slow service. Several groups who had come in after had similar meals faster than we did. I had heard very good things about Culhane's, so it was disappointing. I would like to give it another try sometime in the future in hopes that this was just a blip.

Good crab cakes,steak and other seafood. Nice staff. We have a small group that meet every other month. Would go there more often if prices were a bit lower

Loved the environment. Has the steak, shrimp and lobster. The lobster was cooked perfectly. The other stuff was good to but I could have eaten another lobster 😊😊😊😊 The fried mushrooms were good as well. Best part they weren’t greasy.

The food and service at Culhane's is always perfect. We're in there regularly once every couple months.
